Pitbull Team wins eight gold medals at State Muay Thai Championship

The Pitbull Team training center from Rondonópolis secured eight gold medals and one bronze medal at the 2026 Mato Grosso do Sul State Muay Thai Championship. Held on October 9 and 10 in Chapadão do Sul, the event featured approximately 200 athletes from 35 teams.

With nine athletes entered and nine victories achieved, the team finished as the second-best in the state. This performance serves as an official qualifier for the 2026 Brazilian Muay Thai Championship in Rio de Janeiro. The delegation received logistical support from the Rondonópolis City Hall through the Municipal Secretariat of Education, Culture, Sport, and Leisure.

Following this achievement, the team is preparing for an international competition in Paraguay scheduled for December, which will feature both Brazilian and Paraguayan competitors.
