Valencia CF sells 42% stake to Pitchwise Holdings
Valencia CF has announced an agreement to sell a 42% stake in the club to Pitchwise Holdings, a consortium of family offices and long-term institutional investors. The deal values the Spanish La Liga club at €1.25 billion, including debt.
Pitchwise Holdings is led by sports executives Ann Rodriguez and Corey Woolfolk, with significant financial backing from KKR co-founders George Roberts and Henry Kravis. The consortium also includes Penner Sports Group, founded by Greg and Carrie Penner, owners of the NFL’s Denver Broncos.
As part of the agreement, the new investors will inject €100 million of fresh capital directly into the club to support sporting operations and the development of the Nou Mestalla stadium project. While Pitchwise Holdings acquires a significant minority stake, Meriton Holdings, controlled by Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, will retain majority ownership. Kiat Lim is set to continue as club president within the new ownership structure.
