Pitești police officer detained for suspected pimping

A 36-year-old police officer in Pitești has been detained on suspicion of pimping. The officer, who has served in the force since 2013, is accused of using the ‘loverboy’ method to manipulate young women into prostitution.

Authorities conducted a search of the officer's residence before taking him into custody and bringing him to the very police station where he works. While colleagues expressed shock at the allegations, acquaintances noted that the officer maintained a luxurious lifestyle, frequently traveling and wearing expensive clothing. Prosecutors are currently investigating the case to determine further legal measures.
