Pitt men’s soccer holds No. 8 Michigan State to a 0-0 draw

The Pitt men’s soccer team earned a 0-0 draw against No. 8 Michigan State at DeMartin Stadium. Despite facing the nation’s highest-scoring attack, Pitt controlled the tempo and managed high-pressure channels to secure a clean sheet.

In the 40th minute, Pitt freshman Bruno Bertran hit a strike that struck the underside of the crossbar and bounced onto the goal line before being cleared. Goalkeeper Jack Moxom recorded four saves to maintain the shutout, including crucial stops in the second half against Miles Merritt and Oscar Huerta.
