Pink Parade events across Italy raise funds for cancer research

The Pink Parade, a nationwide initiative in Italy, has mobilized thousands of participants to support the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi in its mission to fund medical research for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of female cancers.

In Castelraimondo, over 300 people participated in a five-kilometer walk organized by Castelraimondo Basket. The event included a collective tribute to women lost to the disease and raised funds for the foundation. Similarly, in Quattro Castella, approximately 50 participants raised over 1,000 euros despite uncertain weather conditions.

Across the country, the campaign has seen significant engagement, with reports indicating a total of 23,000 participants nationwide. The initiative coincides with October, recognized globally as breast cancer awareness month, aiming to promote early diagnosis and health education.
