PittaRosso Pink Parade to fund breast cancer research in Milan
The thirteenth PittaRosso Pink Parade is scheduled to take place in Milan on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Organized by PittaRosso and the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi ETS, the walking event aims to raise funds for female cancer research and promote healthy lifestyles and prevention.
Proceeds from the event will support a phase 3 clinical study on trastuzumab deruxtecan, a class of antibody-drug conjugates. This research focuses on women with HR+/HER2− breast cancer who exhibit aggressive residual disease following neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The study seeks to determine if the treatment can reduce recurrence risks and improve long-term recovery prospects.
In addition to the walk, prevention initiatives will include free senological examinations available from October 16 to 19. While the main event is centered in Milan, participation is open to individuals across Italy.
