Pittsburgh Penguins prospects Liam and Markus Ruck advance through organization

Identical twins Liam and Markus Ruck, both drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins, are progressing through the organization’s development stages. Liam Ruck, the 22nd overall pick, recently participated in the Penguins' training camp at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, where he was elevated to a practice group alongside team captain Sidney Crosby.

Markus Ruck, selected 39th overall, and Liam previously played together for the Medicine Hat Tigers in the WHL. During their time there, the brothers demonstrated significant chemistry; Markus led the WHL with 108 points last season, while Liam finished second with 104 points. Markus assisted on a high percentage of Liam’s goals, including all 12 of his power-play goals.
