Pittsburgh Penguins release 69-player training camp roster

The Pittsburgh Penguins have released their full 69-player training camp roster. The group includes top 2026 NHL Draft picks Liam and Markus Ruck, as well as prospect Tommy Galvas, who recently gained attention during the Prospects Tournament.

Competition for roster spots is expected to be high, particularly among forwards, with 18 players vying for 14 positions. A goaltending battle will also take place between Sergei Murashov and Joel Blomqvist to secure the second NHL spot alongside Arturs Silovs.

In recent prospect action, the Penguins concluded their tournament with a 3-1 loss to the Dallas Stars in Detroit. The Ruck twins scored the team's only goal during the match. The Penguins are scheduled to begin camp this Thursday, with their first preseason game set against the Buffalo Sabres on Monday at PPG Paints Arena.

Several players are currently on the injured list, including goaltender Gabriel D’Aigle, Rafael Harvey-Pinard, and Melvin Fernstrom.
