Pittsburgh Pirates highlight rising minor league prospects

The Pittsburgh Pirates are seeing significant development within their farm system, highlighted by recent award winners and top prospects. Right-handed pitcher Seth Hernandez was named the Bob Friend Pitcher of the Year following a dominant performance with Single-A Bradenton, where he posted a 0.96 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 28 innings.

Third baseman Murf Gray earned the Honus Wagner Player of the Year award. Additionally, second baseman Chris Rembert, a supplemental second-round pick from Auburn University, has begun his professional career with Low-A Bradenton. Rembert, noted for his bat speed and plate approach, has already appeared in 18 games for the Marauders.
