Pittsburgh Steelers re-sign linebacker Elandon Roberts

The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed veteran linebacker Elandon Roberts to their practice squad. Roberts, an 11-year NFL veteran who previously played for the team, stated he holds no ill will regarding his earlier release during final roster cuts. He noted that the time away allowed him to attend to personal family matters.

Following a 34-22 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, the Steelers also implemented a coaching adjustment. Head coach Mike McCarthy moved defensive coordinator Patrick Graham from the coaching booth to the sideline to facilitate more immediate, face-to-face communication with players. Inside linebacker Patrick Queen noted that the change has improved the immediacy of defensive adjustments during games.
