Pittsburgh Steelers defeat Indianapolis Colts 34-22
The Indianapolis Colts lost 34-22 to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5 at Acrisure Stadium. Despite controlling the pace of play and scoring on six of nine true drives, the Colts struggled to capitalize in the red zone.
Kicker Spencer Shrader was a standout performer, making all five of his field goal attempts, including a 57-yarder that tied the second-longest field goal ever made at the stadium. Shrader has now made 16 consecutive field goals this season.
The Colts' offense faced significant challenges as running back Jonathan Taylor was limited to 45 rushing yards on 15 carries. Quarterback Daniel Jones finished with 267 passing yards on 24-of-44 completions, avoiding turnovers but completing only 54.5% of his passes. The Colts' defense also struggled to generate pressure, leaving the secondary vulnerable throughout the game.
