Pittsburgh Steelers defeat New Orleans Saints as Aaron Rodgers sets NFL record

The Pittsburgh Steelers secured a 16-10 victory over the New Orleans Saints in their Week 7 matchup, improving their record to 5-2. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers set a new NFL all-time record during the game, recording his 95th career completion of 50 yards or more via a 51-yard pass to wide receiver DK Metcalf.

While the offense relied heavily on the ground game, with running back Jaylen Warren totaling 137 yards, the deep connection to Metcalf provided a rare explosive play for the unit. Other contributors included rookie Germie Bernard and practice squad call-up Brandon Smith.

Despite the win, analyst Colin Cowherd expressed concerns regarding the sustainability of the Steelers' offensive model. Cowherd noted that the team's reliance on running backs for production rather than a consistent passing attack may not translate effectively to the postseason.
