Head coach Mike McCarthy outlined the Steelers’ quarterback depth chart for the 2026 training camp, noting that veteran Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph will occupy the top two slots, while rookie Drew Allar and sophomore Will Howard will compete for the third. The coach highlighted the challenge of giving reps to four quarterbacks and mentioned the team’s new indoor facility at St. Vincent College.

Defensive back Joey Porter Jr. was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list after aggravating a back injury during a mobility workout. Porter will miss practices but can attend meetings, and the Steelers may turn to other cornerbacks such as Asante Samuel Jr. to fill his role at the start of the season.
