Steelers and Browns prepare for AFC North rivalry game

The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers are set to face off in an AFC North rivalry game on Thursday night. Both teams enter the matchup with 2-1 records, making the contest a battle for sole possession of first place in the division.

Both rosters are dealing with significant injury concerns. The Steelers are shorthanded in their secondary, with cornerback Brandin Echols in concussion protocol and Jalen Ramsey in a sling. The Browns are facing depth issues on the offensive line, with center Elgton Jenkins expected to miss the game due to a concussion, alongside limited availability for Tytus Howard and Teven Jenkins.

Key storylines include the performance of Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who has shown signs of resurgence, and the Steelers' offensive line stability following rookie Max Iheanachor’s strong debut. On the defensive side, Browns edge rusher Jared Verse has been noted for generating high pressure despite a low sack conversion rate. The game is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.
