Pittsburgh Steelers players react to NFL news and injuries

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Germie Bernard set a franchise record for receptions by a rookie in a single game, recording 11 catches for 87 yards and an overtime touchdown during a victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bernard noted that teammate Mason McCormick provided intense sideline motivation during the contest.

Following the win, Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers commented on Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts being ruled out for the season due to deep vein thrombosis. Rodgers expressed sympathy for Hurts while also critiquing the NFL's medical oversight under Chief Medical Officer Dr. Allen Sills.

Additionally, discussions have emerged regarding the Steelers' upcoming game in Paris against the New Orleans Saints. While some analysts expressed concerns regarding social unrest in France, former player J.J. Watt suggested the Steelers' travel schedule, which involves a later departure, is preferable for managing flight fatigue and time zone adjustments.
