Pitty announces new self-titled album for October release

Brazilian singer Pitty has announced her sixth studio album, titled ‘⚡︎ PITTY ⚡︎’, scheduled for release on October 16 via the Deck label. This marks her first release of new material in seven years, following her 2019 album Matriz.

The creative process for the project began spontaneously in late 2025. Pitty described the experience as a rebirth, noting that she took full creative control over the lyrics, melodies, riffs, production, and visual aesthetics. She stated that the album ‘imposed itself’ on her, allowing her to reconnect with the songwriting style she utilized early in her career in Salvador.

During the seven-year hiatus from studio albums, the artist focused on various collaborations, performances, and a period of reflection away from the intense stage routine to reorganize her creative direction.
