Tomasz Michałowski, the mayor of Piwniczna-Zdrój, ranked sixth in Poland for Facebook engagement among mayors during July 2026. According to the Local SoMe ranking, his profile generated over 16,400 interactions and 944 comments from 90 posts, resulting in an engagement rate of 4.86 percent.

Michałowski also achieved the second-highest follower growth within the national top ten, gaining 823 new followers in a single month. This performance placed him ahead of mayors from larger, well-known tourist destinations, including Zakopane and Myślenice.
