Pixel Watch models to receive Wear OS 7 update soon, Verizon reveals details

Verizon has posted changelogs indicating that the Wear OS 7 update is ready for the Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Watch 4. All three devices will receive build CP2A.260603.001, which includes the June 2026 security patch and performance‑ and stability‑improvements.

The update adds several new features announced at Google’s I/O 2026: Live Updates for notifications, a widget system that replaces Tiles (available in 2×1 and 2×2 sizes), an updated media player with a remote audio output switcher, per‑app media auto‑launch controls, and a unified third‑party workout‑tracking interface. Google also promises roughly a 10 % boost in battery life without hardware changes.

Google has not yet confirmed a rollout date, but Verizon’s early posting suggests the release could occur within days. The original 2022 Pixel Watch is excluded, as Google’s update promise ends in October 2025. Users in the United States and elsewhere, including Czech owners, should watch for OTA notifications in the coming weeks.
