Piyorin limited edition sweets to be sold in Okayama

JR Tokai Food Service will offer a limited-edition “Oni Piyorin” sweet at Okayama Takashimaya from October 10 to October 12, 2026. The sale is part of the “2026 Railway Day Fair,” a joint project between JR West and Okayama Takashimaya.

The special dessert features a rich pudding made with Nagoya Cochin eggs, wrapped in chocolate-flavored bavaroa. To reflect the local folklore of Momotaro, the design includes horns and wing patterns inspired by an “oni” (demon), while maintaining the character's signature cuteness.

Customers can purchase the “Oni Piyorin Odekake Set,” which includes both the standard Piyorin and the limited edition version, for 1,300 yen. Due to high demand, only 60 sets of the Oni Piyorin version will be available each day, with numbered tickets distributed at the store entrance starting at 9:40 AM.
