Pizza Fest MT attracts visitors to Pantanal's Centro de Eventos

Pizza Fest MT Pantanal food festival free entry Mato Grosso

The second edition of Pizza Fest MT began on Thursday, 9 July, at the Centro de Eventos do Pantanal. The four‑day festival offers more than 100 pizza varieties, live music across several genres, a kids’ zone and contests for the best pizza and a pizza‑eating championship. Admission is free and the event runs until Sunday, 12 July.

Organiser Charles Padilha highlighted the venue’s capacity to host large gatherings, noting previous events such as Burguer Fest and the Festival do Queijo. Producer Flávio Thompson said the festival aims to provide entertainment, support small businesses and boost the local economy.

The festival showcases traditional, sweet, gourmet and author‑created pizzas, available by the slice or whole for sharing with family and friends.
