PizzaExpress opens first restaurant in Amritsar

UK-based restaurant chain PizzaExpress has opened its first outlet in Amritsar, Punjab, located at the Nexus Amritsar Mall. This new location represents the brand’s 39th establishment in India.

Gourmet Investments Hospitality Group (GIHG), the company managing the restaurants, stated that the expansion into Amritsar is part of a broader growth strategy in India. Rohan Pewekar, CEO of GIHG, noted that the city’s vibrant food culture and growing retail ecosystem made it a strategic choice for the brand.

The restaurant is designed as an all-day dining venue, offering a menu that includes dough balls, gourmet pizzas, handcrafted pastas, salads, and signature Romana pizzas.
