Pizzighettone Mayor Signs Decree to Keep Disabled Care Center Open

Mayor Luca Moggi of Pizzighettone signed an urgent decree on 3 August authorising the Cooperativa Sociale Stella to take over the management of the Oasi 2 residential community for fragile patients and the Centro Diurno Disabili L’Incontro. The decree, prompted by the imminent shutdown announced by the previous operator for 4 August, guarantees provisional operation from 5 August for up to 60 days, subject to a positive assessment by ATS Val Padana. The mayor expressed satisfaction that the continuity of assistance for vulnerable residents would be maintained without interruption.

The new manager, Cooperativa Sociale Stella, is tasked with submitting the accreditation transfer request and ensuring that services for disabled and frail individuals continue uninterrupted, addressing concerns raised by families during recent consultations.
