PKB Blitar sets targets for 2029 legislative and 2031 regional elections

The Blitar Regency branch of the National Awakening Party (PKB) has announced ambitious political targets following the inauguration of its new leadership for the 2026–2031 term. Under the leadership of Muhammad Rifa’i, the party aims to increase its legislative presence from 11 seats to 14 seats in the 2029 Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) elections.

In addition to legislative gains, the party is targeting victory in the 2031 Blitar Regency regional head elections. To achieve these goals, the party is implementing a ‘double track strategy’ focused on strengthening grassroots support and activating all organizational levels, including autonomous bodies, to begin political mobilization immediately.

Laili Abidah, a member of the East Java Provincial DPRD from the PKB faction, emphasized that the new management must focus on organizational consolidation and voter base strengthening. The party intends to leverage the experience of its new daily management members, many of whom are former legislative candidates, to expand public support.
