PKB branches in Ciamis and Bondowoso target more seats for 2029

The National Awakening Party (PKB) branches in Ciamis and Bondowoso have announced strategic targets to increase their legislative seat counts for the 2029 elections.

In Ciamis, the newly inaugurated DPC PKB leadership for the 2026–2031 term, led by Chairperson Ai Ratna Intan Solihah, is aiming to secure seven DPRD seats. The leadership emphasized a commitment to grassroots engagement, instructing members to move beyond office-based activities to directly address community concerns and strengthen organizational synergy.

In Bondowoso, Chairperson Ahmad Dhafir also set a goal for seat expansion during the party's regional working meeting. Dhafir noted that the party's current 16 seats represent a decline from its historical peak of 28. He stressed that increasing political influence must be coupled with greater responsibility toward public welfare and improved coordination across various levels of government to address local issues.
