PKM Czechowice-Dziedzice expands electric bus fleet

PKM Czechowice-Dziedzice has completed the purchase of two MAXI-class electric buses and the installation of necessary charging infrastructure. The project, which includes two plug-in charging stations at the depot on Michał Drzymały Street, was funded through the National Recovery Plan (KPO) and a loan from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW).

The total planned cost of the project exceeded 8 million PLN, with 5,674,500 PLN provided by the KPO. The new low-floor, air-conditioned vehicles are designed to be accessible for people with disabilities and limited mobility, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions, nitrogen oxides, and noise pollution in the city.
