PKO Biegowe 360° running conference to be held in Zakopane
The fourth edition of the PKO Biegowe 360° conference will take place from October 22 to 25 at the Central Sports Center (COS-OPO) in Zakopane. Sponsored by PKO Bank Polski, the event is designed for amateur runners of all levels, focusing on the theme ‘The Complete Runner: Training, Health, Technology, Community, and Longevity.’
The program integrates lectures and debates with practical workshops. Experts in physiology, physiotherapy, and nutrition will discuss topics such as training loads, cross-training, nutrition, and injury prevention. Notable speakers include Jacek Marciniak, who will cover exercise physiology, and Tomasz Lewandowski, who will compare training methodologies from Kenya, Norway, and the United States.
A highlight of the event is the practical day on Sunday, October 25, featuring workshops led by elite athletes. Participants will have the opportunity to learn specific techniques from specialists such as Adam Kszczot, Joanna Jóźwik, Natalia Bukowiecka, and others. These sessions aim to provide actionable skills in areas like proper warm-ups, strength training, and technical drills.
