PÉKO Tea Bar opens new flagship store in Jakarta

PÉKO Tea Bar has expanded its presence by opening a new flagship store at ASHTA District 8 in South Jakarta. This new location joins the brand’s existing outlets at the ASEAN MRT Station and Grand Indonesia.

According to Co-Founder Ricky, the choice of ASHTA District 8 aims to tap into a high-mobility area that serves as a meeting point for urban communities, including office workers, commuters, and wellness enthusiasts. The brand seeks to integrate tea drinking into a modern urban lifestyle.

Founder and CEO Irina stated that the brand intends to challenge the traditional stigma of tea as a slow or conventional ritual. Instead, PÉKO offers a functional tea experience designed for modern life, providing what they describe as ‘calm focus’. The menu features local tea blends with options such as creamy oat milk tea, low-calorie Stevia sweeteners, and Whipped Whey Protein additions.
