PKP Intercity launches educational train routes following Polish scientists

PKP Intercity and the Fundacja Nauka. To Lubię foundation have launched a public vote to select an educational train route through Poland following the footsteps of famous Polish scientists and explorers. The plebiscite, which runs until September 10, allows participants to choose between four distinct thematic paths.

The proposed routes include a maritime and a mountain mission centered on naturalist Benedykt Dybowski, an expedition following polar explorer Henryk Arctowski near Łódź, and an astronomical trail dedicated to Wilhelmina Iwanowska in Katowice.

Science communicator Tomasz Rożek will accompany the winning route, filming a special documentary about the chosen historical figure. Additionally, selected PKP Intercity trains will feature “Superheroes Academy Trail” guides to enhance the passenger experience.
