Plan Cayapa Heroica restores technological equipment in Cumaná

The Plan Cayapa Heroica, an initiative by Venezuela’s Ministry of Science and Technology, recently conducted a technical recovery and maintenance operation in Cumaná, Sucre state. Based at the Universidad Politécnica Territorial del Oeste del Estado Sucre (Uptoscr), local technicians restored various essential technological and medical tools.

Key achievements of the mission included the repair of 14 Canaima laptops for the Fe y Alegría San Luis educational unit and the recovery of a laptop and two uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems for Uptoscr. Additionally, an analog blood pressure monitor used by the Universidad de Oriente (UDO) fire department was rehabilitated for emergency medical use.

Specialists from Fundacite Sucre are currently evaluating a laboratory water recirculator for Uptoscr and a specialized search camera belonging to Civil Protection to facilitate necessary repairs and part replacements.
