Planalto Beirão Association hosts community open day for waste management

The Association of Municipalities of the Planalto Beirão Region (AMRPB) hosted an Open Day to introduce the local community to its urban solid waste management operations. The initiative aimed to increase transparency and engagement regarding the daily tasks performed by the association.

The program included a welcome session featuring Carla Borges, President of the Tondela Municipal Council and Board of Directors of Ecobeirão, and José Portela, the association's executive secretary. Participants visited the Urban Solid Waste Treatment Center to observe various operations and discuss environmental challenges, specifically the importance of responsible waste management and sustainable practices. The event concluded with a social gathering at the S. C. D. do Borralhal Club.
