Planet Labs Shares Slip, Palantir Receives $175 Target as Tech Stocks Shift

Planet Labs PBC (NYSE:PL) saw its share price decline by about 2% on Thursday, trading as low as $27.18 after a volume drop of roughly 49% from its average. Analysts adjusted their outlooks, with Craig Hallum raising his price objective to $49 and several firms, including Goldman Sachs and Needham, issuing new target ranges between $22 and $53.

In a separate development, D.A. Davidson upgraded Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR) to a Buy rating and lifted its price target to $175, citing the stock’s recent decline from a 52‑week high and accelerating earnings growth. Palantir’s shares were trading near $132 at the time of the upgrade, with the company reporting 85% year‑over‑year revenue growth and strong U.S. commercial performance.

Both moves reflect ongoing analyst activity in the technology sector, where satellite‑imagery and artificial‑intelligence firms are experiencing notable valuation adjustments amid broader market pressures.
