Planques takes pole in Misano as Längenfelder finishes 4th in China

In the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, 18-year-old Guillem Planques secured pole position during qualifying in Misano. Planques utilized a slipstream from Fernando Bujosa to achieve the top time. David Da Costa will start on the second of the front row, with Bujosa positioned between Planques and Da Costa.

In the FIM Motocross World Championship, Red Bull KTM riders competed in the Grand Prix of China in Shanghai. Simon Längenfelder finished 4th overall in the MX2 class after leading the first moto. MXGP debutant Andrea Adamo secured a 7th place overall finish, ensuring a top five position in the world championship standings for his first season.
