Plastic Free to lead ecological cleanup in Palmi

Following a memorandum of understanding between the association Plastic Free and the Municipality of Palmi, an ecological cleanup day is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, in the Contrada Scinà area, specifically within the Ex Angolo Verde zone.

Starting at 8:00 AM, volunteers and citizens will work to collect abandoned waste to improve the local environment. This initiative marks one of the first operational actions following the formalization of the partnership between the association and the municipal administration. The event will involve several local organizations, including Associazione Amici di Gisa, Lega Navale Italiana – Sezione di Palmi, Associazione Fogghi di Luna, and Associazione ’Mbuttaturi. The cleanup is coordinated by Deborah Serratore and Maria Cristina Altomonte.
