Plataforma Lavardén hosts free 'Cultura en Juego' preview in Rosario

The provincial Ministry of Culture’s headquarters, Plataforma Lavardén in Rosario, Argentina, will hold a free public preview of the "Cultura en Juego" board‑game festival on Saturday, 1 August 2026. The six‑hour event, running from 14:00 to 20:00, will feature 75 tables with more than 200 game options—including traditional board games, collectible card games, role‑playing sessions and modern variants—representing a 50 % increase in tabletop offerings compared with the previous year.

Organisers aim to use play as a tool for learning and citizenship, encouraging participants of all ages to develop social and cognitive skills such as cooperation, rule‑following, problem‑solving and strategic thinking. Admission is free and the venue, located at the corner of Mendoza and Sarmiento streets, will be open to families, children, youth and adults throughout the day.
