Plataforma per la Llengua has submitted formal allegations to the Spanish Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, demanding that future state-owned regular road passenger transport services guarantee linguistic rights for Catalan and Valencian speakers.

The entity is requesting that essential service information—including schedules, fares, itineraries, and access conditions—be available in these languages. They also demand oral and written user assistance, signage, digital channels, contractual documentation, and incident communications to respect linguistic rights in Catalonia and the Valencian Community.

The allegations target several specific corridors, including routes connecting Barcelona with Pontevedra, Santiago de Compostela, Sevilla, Huelva, and Teruel, as well as routes involving Valencia, Alicante, and Murcia. The organization proposes fifteen specific requests, including a general clause to ensure these rights are contractually enforceable and subject to control and sanction mechanisms.
