Plateau State Government provides free tickets for Plateau United vs Shooting Stars match

The Plateau State Government has purchased a large number of tickets to provide free regular admission for supporters attending the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match between Plateau United and Shooting Stars. This initiative is a joint effort between the Ministry of Sports and the Jos North Local Government Council (LGC).

The move aims to remove financial barriers for local fans, increase stadium attendance, and create a strong home atmosphere for Plateau United. While regular tickets are free, VIP tickets will be available for ₦1,000. Supporters who have already purchased tickets online are advised to keep them, as they can be used for the club’s next home fixture.

Both teams are currently working to improve their early-season standings, with Plateau United in 10th place with four points and Shooting Stars in 12th place with three points. Sports administrators believe the increased crowd support will provide a morale boost for the home players and exert pressure on the visiting side.
