Platina Resources applies for large Northern Territory tin project

Platina Resources has applied for a 992-square-kilometre land package in the Birrindudu region of Australia’s Northern Territory. The company intends to establish the Jove tin project, targeting a significant geological area where historical exploration has identified widespread cassiterite in streams but failed to locate the primary bedrock source.

Technical reviews of regional geophysical data have identified four large, concealed magnetic anomalies that have not yet been drilled. One anomaly measures 6.3km by 5.4km, and another measures 4.3km by 1.9km. Platina Resources believes these targets may point to a concealed granite-related tin system. The new targets are located between 10km and 18km from the historical Captain Jack prospect.
