PlatinumGames and Shift Up detail Bayonetta collaboration for Stellar Blade
PlatinumGames CEO Atsushi Inaba and Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-tae have shared details regarding the collaboration to bring Bayonetta outfits to the game Stellar Blade. In a joint interview with Famitsu, Inaba stated that PlatinumGames maintained a hands-off approach during the development of the costumes to avoid ruining the collaboration through excessive nitpicking.
Kim Hyung-tae described the process as a learning experience, noting the difficulty in accurately recreating the meaningful lettering found on the original outfits. The collaboration includes four outfits, one of which is a nun costume that was specifically approved for inclusion. Kim noted that the approval process was efficient, allowing the team to integrate the character into the Stellar Blade universe effectively.
