Platoon Aviation wins 2026 52 Super Series title in Valencia

Platoon Aviation, led by Harm Müller-Spreer, secured its second 52 Super Series championship title during the 2026 season finale in Valencia. The team clinched the overall title mathematically after the Regatta Committee, led by María Torrijo, announced that only one of the two scheduled races could be held due to conditions.

While Platoon Aviation took the season crown, the Valencia Sailing Week trophy was decided in the final race. The Italian team Alkedo Cetilar, helmed by Andrea Lacorte, secured the Valencia Sailing Week victory after finishing second in the final heat, narrowly beating the Dutch team No Way Back. Despite a penalty that dropped No Way Back to the back of the fleet, they managed a comeback to eighth place, but it was not enough to overtake Alkedo Cetilar.
