Plato’s ‘The Politicus’ Volume II to be released by TO BHMA

The newspaper TO BHMA is releasing the second volume of Plato’s ‘The Politicus’ this Sunday. This fundamental work of political philosophy examines the nature of political power, the relationship between rulers and citizens, and the virtues required of a leader.

As one of Plato’s later dialogues, ‘The Politicus’ serves as a bridge between ‘The Republic’ and ‘The Laws,’ reflecting an evolution toward more moderate political ideas. The text is noted for its critique of dogmatism and totalitarianism, making its philosophical inquiries into governance and democracy remain relevant in a modern context.
