Plaud unveils Plaud One AI earbuds with independent 4G connectivity

Plaud has announced the Plaud One Explorer Edition, a pair of AI-powered wearable earbuds designed to capture, transcribe, and act upon real-world conversations. The device features a built-in eSIM with 4G LTE connectivity within its charging case, allowing it to operate independently of a smartphone to record in-person meetings, phone calls, and virtual sessions.

At the core of the system is the Plaud Intelligence platform and the Plaud Agent. This AI agent uses captured context to automate professional tasks by integrating with tools such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, and Slack. It can generate follow-up emails, structured reports, meeting briefs, and presentation drafts based on recorded discussions.

The hardware includes 12mm drivers, active noise cancellation (ANC), and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The charging case can also function as a standalone recording device, capable of picking up voices within a five-meter range. Pre-orders for the Explorer Edition have opened at approximately $249.99, with shipping expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
