Plauen police detain 20-year-old following serious crime threat

Police in Plauen, Saxony, conducted a major operation in the Chrieschwitz district following reports of a potentially imminent serious crime. Special units from the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) were involved in the action, which lasted from Friday into Saturday night.

During the investigation, authorities searched two residential properties located on Friesenweg and Marie-Curie-Straße. A 20-year-old man was taken into police custody. Officials have not yet disclosed the specific nature of the suspected crime or what items, if any, were seized during the searches.
