K-pop virtual idol group PLAVE has announced a new collaboration single titled ‘Flame (feat. milet)’, scheduled for digital release on September 3. This marks the group’s first collaboration with a Japanese artist and their first original Japanese track since their debut in the country in June last year.
The track features a collaborative production process where PLAVE handled the composition while Japanese singer-songwriter milet contributed the lyrics. The project aims to expand PLAVE’s presence in the Japanese music market and bolster their global activities.
Managed by the virtual IP startup VLAST, PLAVE is a self-producing group consisting of five members: Yejun, Noah, Bamby, Eunho, and Hamin. The group has achieved significant commercial success, including reaching one billion streams on Melon and achieving multiple million-seller milestones for their recent albums.
