Play introduces eSIM starter for prepaid customers in Poland

The service is designed to provide convenience for users seeking a second number or additional data packages, as well as for tourists visiting Poland who require immediate network access. The activation process involves registering the number and scanning the QR code to download the digital profile onto a compatible device.

Play highlights several advantages to this transition, including enhanced security since virtual cards cannot be physically lost or damaged, and the ability to use Dual SIM functionality more easily. Additionally, the company emphasizes environmental benefits by reducing plastic waste, noting that the new starter packaging is made of eco-friendly paper.
