Playa del Carmen officials seek alliance with Atlético Dallas

Estefanía Mercado, the municipal president of Playa del Carmen, has met with executives from Atlético Dallas to explore potential sports alliances. The proposal aims to strengthen local sports infrastructure and create new opportunities for children and youth in the region.

One aspect of the discussions involves the possibility of the club hosting its preseason training sessions in Playa del Carmen. While the club is linked to Mexican footballer Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, the meeting has not yet confirmed whether the team has officially accepted the proposal to hold its training sessions in the destination.
