Playas de Rosarito prosecutor charges man for child support failure

The Regional Prosecutor's Office of Playas de Rosarito has initiated legal proceedings against Pedro Arturo “N” for the alleged failure to meet family assistance obligations. The charges involve the partial and unjustified omission of child support payments for two minors between December 12, 2024, and July 8, 2026.

According to the investigation, the defendant failed to provide necessary resources despite a prior judicial agreement. This omission reportedly impacted the children's access to essential needs, including food, education, health, clothing, and recreation, leaving them in a vulnerable state. The minors currently reside with their mother in the municipality.

A control judge has established a two-month period to conclude the complementary investigation.
