Playground renovations underway in L'Hospitalet and Andorra la Vella
Local authorities are undertaking various playground renovation projects to improve safety and inclusivity. In L'Hospitalet, the children's area on Avinguda de la Mare de Déu de Bellvitge has reopened following remodeling works. The space has expanded from 440 to 681 square meters and now features inclusive games designed to allow children of all abilities to play together. The project involved input from students at the nearby Jesuïtes Bellvitge – Centre d'Estudis Joan XXIII school.
In Andorra la Vella, a tender has been issued for the renovation of the Prat Condal playground, with an estimated maximum cost of 165,000 euros. The project aims to replace deteriorated wooden equipment and impact-absorbing flooring with new installations that meet current European Union safety standards. The renovation will include new perimeter fencing and an entrance path while preserving existing trees and green areas.
