PlayStation Plus July 2026 Free Games Include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

Sony announced the PlayStation Plus monthly lineup for July 2026, which will be available to Essential, Extra and Deluxe subscribers from 7 July through 3 August. The three titles are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (Cross‑Gen Bundle), the turn‑based roguelite RPG For the King II and the retro‑style 2D action RPG CrossCode. Modern Warfare III arrives with a new campaign, the 16 remastered multiplayer maps from the 2009 Modern Warfare 2, and an open‑world Zombies mode. For the King II continues the fantasy setting of Fahrul, tasking players with overthrowing the tyrannical Queen Rosomon in solo or four‑player co‑op. CrossCode blends 16‑bit graphics, fast combat and puzzle dungeons within a sci‑fi storyline. All three games can be downloaded on PS5 and PS4 at no extra cost during the promotional period and will remain in subscribers’ libraries while the subscription stays active. The announcement also noted Sony’s upcoming shift away from physical disc production in 2028 and the planned closure of the PS3 and PS Vita stores in the coming years.
