Sony Interactive Entertainment unveils Marvel's Wolverine, God of War Laufey and Marvel Tokon at San Diego Comic-Con 202
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced a series of PlayStation panels for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, running July 23‑26 at the San Diego Convention Center.
On Thursday, July 23, the company will present “Marvel’s Wolverine,” featuring Insomniac creative leads Marcus Smith, Mike Daly, Walt Williams and Jess Reiner‑Reed, alongside actors Liam McIntyre (Wolverine) and Krizia Bajos (Jean Grey). The panel will reveal new story details for the game slated for release on September 15, 2026, on PS5.
The same evening a second session, “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls,” will showcase the upcoming fighting‑game collaboration with Arc System Works. Producer Takeshi Yamanaka, localization director Amber Seitz and senior product manager Michael Francisco will discuss development, joined by Marvel artist Mike Deodato and voice actor Josh Keaton.
Friday, July 24, Sony will host a “God of War Laufey” panel in Ballroom 20. Game director Ariel Lawrence and Santa Monica Studio head of creative Cory Barlog will be joined by cast members Deborah Ann Woll (Laufey), Chris Judge (Kratos), Jack Quaid (Phranque) and Perlina Lau (Rue) to present new hero details and performance‑capture insights.
Additional fan activities will include a Marvel booth with Wolverine‑themed photo‑ops and giveaways, a San Diego trolley painted with Wolverine branding, and a live demo area for Marvel Tokon. The announcements aim to generate excitement ahead of the games’ 2026 releases.
