PlayStation offers free Spider-Man avatars to users

PlayStation users can currently claim free digital avatars inspired by the film ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’. While originally promoted as a perk for PlayStation Plus subscribers via the Sony Pictures Core app, universal PlayStation Network (PSN) voucher codes have been distributed, allowing any user to claim the items regardless of subscription status.

The six-piece avatar set includes characters such as Spider-Man, MJ, Jean Grey, Ned Leeds, and Frank Castle/The Punisher. To redeem the content on PS4 or PS5, users can navigate to the PlayStation Store, select ‘More’, and then ‘Redeem Code’. Specific codes have been provided for US and EU accounts.

The promotion coincides with the film’s digital release and its significant box office success, having grossed between $2 billion and $2.5 billion worldwide. This offer is for limited-time profile customization and does not include full games from the franchise.
